We’re any setback, we’re challenged to make a choice of how we’ll react. If we can not get discouraged easily, handle rejection graciously by not taking things so personally and get back up when we are kicked down, we’ll tackle life’s disappointments with dignity. This helps us be strong and maintain our confidence to keep forging ahead.
Try this: Think about a past setback you experienced. Were you too hard on yourself? Did you dwell on your mistake or failure? Consider what good may have come out of the experience. Did you learn from your mistake? Did you press on to achieve your goal? Write down all the answers to these questions so that you can reflect on what you did that helped you and what you might have done differently.
